Frisco Coffee, the Rising Star of Coffee Farms

Menghai Frisco Coffee Plantation Cooperatives is a young team affiliated to Xishuangbanna Echo Coffee Development Co., Ltd,. They won the 7th Place with a score of 83.2386 in the 2017 Best of Yunnan Green Coffee Competition.

At the beginning of the company, most of the area was planted with corn.  The farmers preferred corn because it could be sold the same year as planting. Mr. Feng, the Chairman of the Board, had a difficult job helping the farmers to see the advantages of planting coffee and then set up cooperative to educate the farmers in how to cultivate and fertilize the trees – all of which was very different from what they did to grow corn.

The biggest advantage of Frisco Coffee is that they focus on planting technology and using scientific method to enhance and develop flavor profiles.  With superior conditions of high altitude and abundant forest vegetation, they strictly control every procedure in the production of their coffee.
