Daya Coffee – A Gift from the Watershed between the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

Menglian Daya Trading Co., Ltd. is located at the Huilongkuo Group of Paliang Village in Mengma Town, Menglian County, Pu’er City, Yunnan Province. Daya means “wellbeing” in the Lahu Language. Paliang Village lies in the Nu Mountain ranges on Henduan Mountain with an elevation between 1,240 to 2,630 meters. The area has an annual average temperature of 17.3℃ and annual rainfall of 2,012 mm. The Menglian watershed spanning between the Fuyan Dahei Mountain in the north and Habuke Mountain in the south flows into two main rivers: The Nan Lei River to the Pacific Ocean via the Lancang River and the Nanka River to the Indian Ocean via the Salween River. The fresh water originating from this watershed is why Daya Coffee is superior in quality.

Covering an area of 3,300 mu (220 hectares) of coffee farms, including 1,500 mu (100 hectares) in China and 1,800 mu (120 hectares) in Myanmar, the Company owns three primary coffee processing mills and supports 269 families. The company is managed to improve the techniques of coffee cultivation and primary processing according to the operational principle of “Health, Ecology and Safety”.

The good ecological environment of the area is the root of high quality coffee production.
